Why Automatic transmission gear(Vehicle choice)

An automatic transmission AT, also called auto, is a type of motor vehicle transmission that can automatically change gear ratios as the vehicle moves, freeing the driver from having to shift gears manually.

This works in conjunction with a torque converter of fluid flywheel, which transmit the engine power through the medium of hydraulic fluid to the automatic gearbox. It does not requires a clutch pedal.
It is more complex than the manual transmission type and has an updated series of epicyclic gears.. Changes are effected automatically by a complex sequence of hydraulically controlled commands.

This system makes lesser demand of the engine and the driver,   therefore making it more economical, and comfort and higher velocity reliable.
